Launch of New Positioner E-CON

E-CON positioner has finally become available in Europe!

E-CON is a simple position controller for most of X-SEL based actuators such as IS, ISD, ISD-CR, ISD-CR ESD, SS, IF, FS and also newly launched ISP, ISPD series.

The main features of E-CON are as follows:

• RoboCylinder concept but up to 64 selectable positions
• Motion execution by PLC or via serial
• Motor wattage: 60 - 750W
• Absolute encoder (optional)
• Profibus, DeviceNet and CC-LINK as remote I/O (optional)

For simple single-axis applications, E-CON is an ideal solution for the area where RoboCylinder could not cover, such as long stroke up to 3000mm, up to 2000mm/sec speed and up to 150kg (horizontal) or 60kg (vertical) payload.
